Exclusive Interview with Pride Champ, Dan Henderson!

Posted by MMA Team on the 30 April 2009 | No Comments

On December 9, 2000 in PrideFC, Wanderlei Silva ended American Dan Henderson’s nine-fight win streak, handing him his first professional MMA loss. Over six years later, they met again in the same show, but this time in the United States. Henderson avenged his first loss with a third round knockout, becoming the first fighter to hold belts in two weight divisions in a major organization simultaneously. Following that victory, he told the crowd and the world his next goal was to claim a third title against reigning heavyweight champion Fedor Emelianenko; not bad for a guy who started fighting just so he could pay the bills for his wrestling career. Just days after his victory, Henderson sat down with MMA Worldwide to discuss his life, his family and his quest for a third title.
