Michael "The Joker" Guyman joins the UFC
Posted by Deshalen Barber on the 9 October 2009 | No Comments
In what has quickly transformed into an “arms race” for fighters between the UFC and Strikeforce, Micheal “The Joker” Guyman has become the most recent soldier to join the ranks of the UFC.
The 35-year-old native of Lake Forest California is currently the ww champ for the well-recognized King of the Kage fight org and maintains an 11-2 record. His only loses are to current UFC lightweight championship hopeful Diego Sanchez, and former UFC fighter and current MFC ww champ, Paul Healy.
Although the exact terms involved with the contract are not specified, the duration of the contract has not been disclosed. Guyman has agreed to an 18-month deal, with his debut remaining undetermined.
One thing is for sure, Guyman brings a straight-forward, hard-nose style, that will make the most determined combatants become flustered at their inability to break the jokers will. As well, the fans are sure to see a fighter that knows how to finish fights, as he has only had one fight go to decision during his respective career.
