Other notable fighters to partake in the surgery and have a successful outcome are Nick Diaz and Marcus Davis. None more disappointed than his challenger Micheal Bisping, who is looking to bounce back after being rendered unconscious to a jaw dropping knockout at the hands of Dan Henderson at UFC 100. Bisping is in desperate need of a big win against a well-recognized opponent, and there was no one better for him to do so against than Wanderlei Silva, who is currently on the back end of his career. For the sake of Bisping’s career and the creditability of the TUF alum, let’s hope he is placed in the cage against a game opponent and not a journeyman. In a recent blog released on his personal page, Bisping stated, “As of right now, I'm still unaware of who I’ll be facing at UFC 105. Obviously as stated before, when I know, you know.”
Wanderlei Silva who is schedule to face Micheal Bisping during the main event for UFC 105 at the MEM Arena in Manchester, England, has been forced to pull out. Having undergone a recent surgery to remove scar tissue within his face, Silva believes this will help prevent lacerations when receiving blunt force while competing and training.
