Jon Fitch
Biography
Fitch is known as one of the grittiest and toughest fighters in the welterweight division. After wrestling for Purdue University as the team captain, he began his MMA career with mixed results. After his first five matches ended in two wins, two losses and a no contest, Fitch would go on a tear. He would win his next seven matches catching the eye of the UFC in the process. He would then win a record tying eight fights in a row in the UFC bringing his total winning streak up to an incredible fifteen fights. He would challenge for the UFC welterweight title against Georges St. Pierre and, despite being brutalized for the majority of the five rounds, fought valiantly earning the respect the MMA community.
